The Collaborative Educational Advocates

Testimonials

~LT

Our daughter has had a variety of anxiety- and substance-related challenges. These issues became far more pronounced during her high school years, resulting in a year-plus stay at a RTC (residential treatment center). When she returned to home, we had many issues relating to her school re-integration, care protocol and expense reimbursement. On advice of a friend, we used Jeanine to advocate on behalf of our daughter and us to achieve the desired changes. Jeanine's ability to empathize with our plight, combined with her first-hand knowledge of the district inner-workings, made her the perfect champion. Her approach with the district, alternately light and forceful as required, ultimately resulted in successful outcomes on all related points. Jeanine worked tirelessly on our behalf, as the "point person" for communication with a half-dozen district contacts. The district's receptive to our complaints dramatically improved when Jeanine assumed control. Jeanine will be a forceful, successful advocate for other parent/children in our situation.

Jeanine is amazing! She is knowledgeable, passionate, and tenacious. She is a vigorous advocate that will represent you and your child, as if your child was her own. She understands the inner workings of the public school system from her decades long experience in administration. Jeanine is my first call for representation or IEP questions, and anyone that is fortunate to work with her would not be disappointed!

I would recommend Jeanine Leech to anyone who is navigating the Special Education process. She has been an invaluable resource for my family. Her professionalism and expertise is unmatched. She understands the uniqueness of each child’s situation and makes recommendations that are appropriate and fair for the child. I am grateful to have chosen her as our advocate.

My daughter has had various challenges in life including a tumultuous 12-year divorce, abandonment issues, several household moves including school systems, all resulting in anxiety, depression, and mental health disorders. She was sent to an outpatient center and a year-plus residential treatment center. Navigating through this process is extremely taxing for the patient and family. Jeanine joined us late in the game and provided the most resourceful, exceptional service. She was even capable of collecting past expenses. Jeanine has a personal life and business experience with the entire IEP process. Jeanine is an amazing resource and takes a huge amount of pressure off of the parents, is compassionate, and guides you through the legal process with ease and assertiveness. Jeanine is dedicated, results-oriented., and I highly recommend hiring her.
